Stairfoot Battery Storage 33kV DNO Substation

Engaged by our client to provide the following works required for the new DNO substation associated with the energisation of the adjacent battery storage site. To achieve this HVEC delivered the following works:

• Cleared the former industrial site and removal of contaminated waste to the required levels.
• Installed piles for the DNO cabin foundation.
• Formed the DNO cabin concrete base.
• Provided the palisade fencing and gates required to enclose the substation compound.
• Provided a bespoke earthing system for the entire compound.
• Provided all internal ducts and draw pits.
• Installed all internal 33kV cabling.
• Formed the concrete access road, walkways and parking bays.
• Provided all low voltage electrical works.
• Accepted, unloaded and secured the DNO cabin on delivery.
